Memories of Madrid

DSC_1206

Madrid was such a warm and vibrant city! The streets were always alive and bustling and the weather was amazing – hot but not humid, sunny with endless blue skies! It was a much welcomed break from the cold we got in Paris. We slowed down our pace a lot here, visited some sites, but mostly walked the city and just absorbed everything around us. We also caught the Madrid Open while we were there, and that was a nice birthday treat for me ;) Who wouldn’t want to visit the place where Tapas was born?? I highly recommend taking a food tour if you ever get the chance!
