Memories of Paris

DSC_9844

Lately, I’ve been thinking back to how spoiled I was in the Travel department last year! And it all became possible when I was laid off (don’t worry, I hated it there anyways) and it turned out to be one of those ‘blessing-in-disguise’ ‘one-door-closes-but-another-opens’ kind of moment!

A couple of weeks later, I found myself on a plane, with Niko, flying to Paris! Before this, I had only been out of the continent once, and that was a quick family trip to Vietnam. Which I know is nothing to be balked about, but this somehow felt different. It felt more real in a way. It was also our first stop on a 2 and a half week trip, and I was really  looking forward to seeing Paris for the first time! But, if I’m to be 100% honest, I wish I had had a better time there : ( The weather really put a damper on the trip, it was cold and rainy the majority of the stay and it was bad mostly because I didn’t pack properly and was determined to dress cute (lol). But weather aside, Paris was still beautiful and has so much history and culture to offer. I’m looking forward to going back in the warmer months and really falling in love with the city! For now, I’ll have to look at these pictures and reminisce, because it’s easier to forget the cold and dampness in pictures ; )
