A few months back, I got to revisit my favourite little family, as they were preparing to welcome a new addition to their three. During Kelly’s first pregnancy, Emilia was in such a rush to be part of the world, that she wasn’t able to get maternity photos done. So this time around, it was a a must-do before their baby boy arrived. We lucked out on a beautiful May morning, aiming to head out before the afternoon heat hit. After a few quick shots at home, we headed to their neighbourhood park, where Miss Emilia was in her element, maybe a little too in her element! I loved the park shots we got, especially the adorable father-daughter moments (you can just hear the giggles!) but some my favourites were of the quiet moments between Kelly and Terry, when Emilia was fast asleep.

I’m a bit behind in my posts, so should have a couple more up in the next couple of weeks! So stay tuned!
Just shy of two months ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Ben & Carol’s big day! The day started out early and by the time the bride walked down the aisle, the sun was out in full force. From all the handmade details to the beautifully warm April afternoon, you couldn’t ask for a more perfect, love and laughter filled day!
Ben & Carol, I’m so happy and honoured to be a part of your wedding day!
As always, check my Facebook page for more!
Nothing warms you on a particularly cold day than a whole lot of love!
When Ben and Carol decided on a winter shoot, I hoped and prayed and endlessly checked the weather forecast for days leading up to the day. I headed out early to to scope out the territory and though there was snow, as we hoped, it was disappointing to see that it was more wet pellets than snowflakes. But luck was on our side, and forty minutes later when the clan arrived, the wet pellets turned into the perfect, fluffy snowflakes.
Despite the cold morning, we trekked all around Hog’s Back Park and by the end of the morning, everyone was rosy cheeked and happy. Salomon had his sled, and his big brother to tug him around, and we got the perfect snowy back drop. Can’t wait to do it all again in the spring when Ben and Carol make it official!

Right in the midst of a busy, busy week, I carved out some time to do a quick shoot for a family very near and dear to my heart. Nothing brings family into town quite like a wedding, and when a it was just a day from AJ and Jen’s big day, his mom and 9 of her 13 siblings found themselves in the same place at the same time, which I’m sure you can imagine, in a family that large does not happen all too often. One thing you learn quickly about the Rada clan is that they are a lively bunch, and the more there are, the louder they become. So imagine my surprise when then wanted to gather inside the National Gallery of Canada for the shoot. I was surprised and relieved when we wrapped up and heard nary a whisper or complaint about the laughs that were heard echoing down the halls! But as loud of a group as they are, you won’t find a warmer, more fun and loving family than this family right here and it was not only my privilege to photograph them, but also to call them family as well. So without further adieu…
Smiles all around to celebrate the weekend! Happy Friday everyone!
Time is a funny thing. You get to a point where you never really realize the time passing…until there’s a little munchkin running around to really make you feel old!
All that aside, I was so excited to be able to capture Emilia’s sweet little smile again! It’s hard to believe she’s a one year old, running around! It was a beautiful summer day at Vincent Massey Park. Terry and Kelly actually had their engagement photos here, and it was a a trip down memory lane…plus one. Emilia hammed it up for the camera, again. She was such a joy and completely in her element. But who wouldn’t be with bubbles in the air?
Here are just a few of my favourites!

Until next time,
Rewind a couple of months ago, and this little munchkin was just a bump, albeit it a very cute one. Linda and Twezal welcomed their baby girl almost two months ago now, but when we met, Baby Livia was only 4 hours old and it hit me, how amazing life can be. And at 10 days old, she wowed me again with all her little smiles and winks, and stubbornness at refusing to sleep. So much character from someone so little.
I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

. I’ll be beck very soon with little Emilia! My summer has been quite baby filled!
Here’s a little sneak peek to a shoot I did a few weeks ago with little Emilia and her parents. I can’t believe how big she’s gotten from the happy baby with big eyes and long lashes!
I’ll be back soon with more from this shoot!
It’s been a few weeks coming, but I’m happy to share this little bundle of joy with you all! Meet Troy, the first of two new additions to the family this year. I was lucky to be able to photograph this little guy on his 1 month birthday! Given my history with baby shoots, I wish they sleep and they never do, and Troy was not an exception to that rule. Even still, we managed to have some giggles in between feedings and diaper changes.

I did it guys! I shot my first wedding! I was really unsure and apprehensive leading up to my decision, but it was a very dear friend’s aunt and when it came down to it, I just went for it! I had met Christine and John on quite a few occasions before they had gotten engaged, so when the big day came around, despite my nerves, I felt really comfortable with them (and it didn’t hurt I had a few extra familiar faces around too!) After being in front of the camera for so many weddings (forever bridesmaid over here) it was such a big change being behind the lens for the first time!
But back to the event at hand, the wedding took place in Barrie, where Christine and John live. They held the ceremony at the Simcoe County Museum in this beautiful little chapel that was preserved on the museum grounds. It was a beautiful day, full of laughs, tears, family, and old friends. Weddings are one of the best places to see love in the making, but it was a whole other experience to be able to capture it all those moments as they unfolded. It was such a wonderful experience and I’m so happy to be able to share it with you all now! Take a look at some of my favourites and jump here for more.
It’s going to be a busy summer but I’ve got lots planned for you guys, so make sure you come on back!
Firstly, I want to apologize for the extended radio silence! Life has a way of getting away from you sometimes, and that’s just what happened. Between weddings, and babies and life in general, there just isn’t enough time some times! But enough of that…
I’m back now and happy to be able to share this shoot with everyone! Linda and Twezal announced at Christmas that they were having a baby and when she asked me if I would do a maternity shoot for her, I was of course more than happy to. So we planned for a sunny day in May when the weather was nice and warm. We ended up needing to split it into two sessions, bu tit was well worth it :)
As always here are my favourites, but don’t forget to check my Facebook page for more!
I hope you enjoyed them, and I will be back soon, I promise!
